How do I create a group?
After signing in, tap the "+" button on the Groups screen. Give your group a name and optional description. Share the generated join code with your friends so they can join.
How do I join an existing group?
Tap the join icon in the top bar of the Groups screen. Enter the 6-character join code shared by the group admin.
How does cost splitting work?
When creating a game, set the total cost. After the game, the admin generates payments which automatically split the cost among confirmed attendees. Each person can see what they owe and mark it as paid.
What is RSVP and how does it work?
When a game is scheduled, group members can RSVP as "Going", "Not Going", or "Maybe". RSVPs update in real-time so everyone can see who's confirmed.
Can I add coupons or sponsorships?
Yes! Group admins can add sponsorships to games which reduce the per-person cost. This is great for when a member or local business covers part of the expense.
How do venues work?
You can save frequently used locations (courts, fields, gyms) as venues within your group. When scheduling a game, pick from saved venues or enter a new location manually. You can also favorite venues for quick access across groups.
Will I get notifications?
Yes! SplitPlay sends push notifications when a new game is scheduled, when someone RSVPs, and when payments are marked as paid or confirmed. You can manage notification permissions in your device settings.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account from the app settings or by contacting us at [email protected]. This will remove all your personal data from our servers.
